Digital
Data definition
In computing, digital refers to information represented as discrete (separate) numerical values, in contrast to analogue. It can also refer to the kind of electronic devices that may also process or present digital data, such as cameras. Nearly all truly digital devices now rely on computers and virtually all computers work with digital data, except perhaps quantum computers. In informal contexts, "digital" can be used as another word to describe modern ICT technology and social or medical phenomena involving them, such as "digital detox" which means to take a break from most or all modern devices and "online life".
